Janaagraha is a pioneering initiative by two young and very successful professionals supported by a large group of professionals from various areas of specialization who are all bound by a common mission of making changes to the local urban governance systems in Indian cities in cooperation with citizen communities and government agencies. Janaagraha works on several critical urban reforms and improvement projects and has conceptualized and pioneered several unique initiatives in governance and citizen participation. Janaagraha is fully volunteer driven and has a passionate and energetic team of hundreds of volunteers in Bangalore.
Janaagraha with its young and professional team of volunteers is very technology friendly and they work to leverage information technology and internet based communication in all their work.
Indiamap Hosting has been providing Janaagraha and its team with online support for their internet based initiatives. We host and manage two critical systems for Janaagraha that are based on advanced technology. Indiamap Communities provides a platform for online collaboration of citizens communities on common areas of concerns and problems that affect their quality of life. Nixel OCMS is a leading customer care solution that has been adapted for e-governance to provide an effective complaint management environment.
Indiamap Hosting has been since 2004 hosting and managing the Indiamap Communities system and Nixel OCMS for two joint initiatives of Janaagraha with the Government of Karnataka and its urban agencies.
